Eiderdown is the most coveted down on earth and is complemented perfectly by this beautiful 100% cotton jacquard ticking. This German fabric has a subtle luminosity and drapes softly around you as you sleep. This truly heirloom duvet is the epitome of luxury and function combined. A portion of the proceeds from each Eiderdown duvet supports conservation, education and research done by the Duvetnor bird sanctuary where the Eiderdown is sourced.
Cotton is well know for being comfortable and breathable and the fabric is only enhanced by the quality; the cotton ticking comes from a German mill with over 100 years experience.
Now available in four weights, ultra light, summer, classic and winter. Ultra Light weight is designed for those that sleep very hot but still want a light covering and a touch of warmth. Summer weight is recommend for warm sleepers in heated bedrooms in warm climates. Classic weight is the most popular and suits average people in average temperatures. This is the choice for people that feel the cold and like to sleep in cooler bedrooms. This weight is guaranteed to be warm enough.
It is recommended that you start with a lighter weight as the duvets can always be returned to Vancouver to have additional down added (small surcharge) but down cannot be removed from a duvet.
